Ep 38 - Yami, La Yerba Y Los Latinos

Don't worry guys, you don't have to speak Spanish on this one to get what we're saying, but it might help. I have an exciting project in the works I'd like to tell you about! And that brings me to my friend Yami, whom I met through ASA. An organ recipient, activist and dispensary owner, Yami has a lot to share! But the thing we connect over the most is a desire to see Latinos given the means to recover from the horrific losses they've had to endure during this war on drugs, and to see them prosper in this newfound opportunity of legalization. Language barriers can make that difficult enough, but the cultural barriers can be the hardest to break down. Luckily, Latinas are a force to be reckoned with.
